Our commitment

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Where we fall short of that, we would rather say so here than leave you to discover it.

What the build does

• Semantic HTML with one h1 per page, a skip link, landmark regions and a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• Tab sets follow the WAI-ARIA tabs pattern, with arrow-key, Home and End navigation, and the first panel visible in the markup so the content is readable before any JavaScript runs.
• Status is never conveyed by colour alone. Every PASS, REVIEW and BLOCK indicator carries an icon and a text label, and table statuses are repeated in words.
• Product interfaces are real HTML and CSS rather than screenshots, so they are readable by a screen reader, selectable, translatable and crisp at any zoom level.
• Charts and meters carry a text label or an aria-label describing what they show.
• All motion is suppressed entirely under prefers-reduced-motion, not merely shortened.
• Nothing depends on JavaScript to be readable. If a script fails, content stays visible rather than being hidden by an animation that never completes.
• Text colours are chosen against their actual background: body text on the dark field is 9.8:1, muted labels 5.2:1, and the teal accent 8.0:1.

A note on colour

The Precision palette is Precision Navy, Signal Teal, Cloud White, Graphite and Exception Amber. Signal Teal and Exception Amber are roughly 2.1:1 on Cloud White and fail as text - which is why the light version of this site had to darken both. On Precision Navy they measure about 8:1, so the status language can be spoken in the brand’s own colours throughout.

Where a section inverts to a light reading surface, the darkened variants are used instead. A teal button always carries a navy label, never a white one.

What has not been verified

Two things, stated plainly:

• This site has not been tested with real assistive technology by people who use it daily. Automated checks and manual keyboard testing are not a substitute for that, and we have not done it yet.
• Rendering has not been confirmed on every combination of browser and platform.

Known limitations

• The measure rail down the left edge of wide viewports is decorative and hidden from assistive technology. It carries no information that is not available elsewhere.
• Some product tables have a minimum width and scroll horizontally inside their own container on narrow screens. The page itself never scrolls sideways.
• This site has no forms. Contact is by email, which means it depends on your having an email client configured.
